About Us
Lotus Realm is London’s first cultural tea-lounge combining Chinese tea heritage with contemporary cocktail craft. Our concept, “Tea by Day, Cocktails by Night”, bridges wellness with nightlife through handcrafted beverages using teas, spirits, and botanicals. We are now hiring bartenders to join our growing evening team.
About the Role
As a bartender at Lotus Realm, you will create and serve cocktails inspired by tea and botanicals in an elegant, design-forward environment. This role suits someone with experience in fast-paced bars who also values calm, intentional service and attention to flavour detail.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve tea-based cocktails, liquors, and selected wines
Master our cocktail menu and ingredient knowledge (teas, botanicals, infusions)
Provide thoughtful, informative, and warm guest service
Handle bar setup, restocking, hygiene, and closing duties
Maintain bar cleanliness and efficiency during peak service
Optional: participate in internal tastings or contribute ideas for new cocktails
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a quality-focused bar
Passion for tea, herbs, Asian spirits, or unique cocktail development
Strong multitasking and communication skills
Fluent in English; Mandarin or Cantonese is an advantage due to our customer base
Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and hygiene (training provided)
Schedule Evening shifts only, 3–6 days per week
Weekend availability required
Specific shift times will be discussed during the interview
